I could make the argument that a policy to not allow your Windows 10 users to set their own time or more importantly to receive automatic time updates from a trusted central source (that is actually updated and correct) is less secure than locking them out of adjusting the time on their machine.
And how might you ask? Well, I know for a fact that TOTP wont work properly for my password manager if the time is off on my Windows 10 machine. So there is that.
If Trump doesn't blow us up, global warming doesn't kill us, and all space objects and energies can be avoided, companies may still be running software from 2005 in A.D. 3400 when the UUIDs will begin rolling and all hell will break loose. It'll be Y2K all over again. And we all know what a close call that was.
